Elements and Performance Criteria
- Prepare to store product
- Product is prepared for storage within Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations, environmental and safe working requirements/practices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and housekeeping requirements
- Load or product documentation is received, interpreted and verified
- Load and handling characteristics are identified
- Appropriate mechanical handling equipment is selected
- Pre-start check is conducted on mechanical handling equipment
- Store product
- Product is stored within OHS regulations, environmental and safe working requirements/practices, SOP, and housekeeping requirements
- Mechanical handling equipment is used to lift, carry and set down load
- Load is stored at the specified location in compliance with other storage requirements
- Product quality faults are identified by observation
- Non-conforming product is actioned
- Situational awareness is maintained in storage areas
- Housekeeping is completed
- Inventory records documentation is completed
